About Dr. Deborah (Debi) Parker, Ed.D.
Every child carries strengths worth celebrating. My job is to help them see it, believe it, and build on it.

Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that every learner has extraordinary potential—and that learning happens best when students feel safe, valued, capable, and supported. I view education as a collaborative journey, where relationships, trust, and encouragement form the foundation for academic and personal growth.
I believe strongly in celebrating strengths, using evidence-based practices, and creating environments where students can take risks, advocate for themselves, and experience success in meaningful ways. Students thrive when instruction is accessible, individualized, and responsive to their needs, interests, and communication styles.
As educators, we have the responsibility—and privilege—to ensure that every student knows they are seen, heard, and believed in. Helping teachers feel confident, helping families feel supported, and helping students feel capable is the heart of my work and the reason I love what I do.
